What does a cost estimate consist of?

In a cost estimate, different parts often come back, depending on the construction project. Costs that you can think of are, for example, construction costs, real estate costs, engineering costs and other additional costs. The distinction between certain costs makes it easier to apply any changes or to detect errors. Moesbergen will work with you to determine which of the following components are important to you:

• Direct costs . These are the costs that can be directly attributed to the end result of the construction project.

• Surcharges . Surcharges are related to the direct costs. They cover the costs that are unavoidable but do not add value to the project.

• Indirect costs.  There are plenty of essential finances that are not directly related to the end result. These are the indirect costs.

• Escalation.  If the execution of your project is going to take a long (er) time, you may have to deal with price changes as a result of changing market conditions. The finances are then covered in this way.

• Unforeseen costs . It is always wise to have a 'jar' on the cost estimate in case of unforeseen costs.
