Knowledge module Contracting in the civil engineering sector
How do you guarantee contractual agreements and forms of contract between client and contractor in the Ground, Water, Road Construction (GWW) and green sector? By providing a framework for agreements in construction contracts and by properly recording the agreements. There are 2 ways to do this. Namely in a RAW specification in the context of the UAV or with (basic) specifications in the context of the UAV-GC.
DESCRIPTION
The Knowledge Module Contracting contains both the complete, jointly established (on an equal footing) RAW system and the (basic) specifications in digital form. This knowledge module ensures that the client and contractor:
Get an explanation of the differences between UAV and UAV-GC and they get help in choosing a construction assignment (via ProContract)
To have knowledge in drawing up and executing RAW specifications, UAV-GC contracts and GWW contract forms
Have the ability to easily consult the RAW system (Standard RAW Specifications, RAW catalog with result descriptions, General Specifications file, RAW catalog Definitions and RAW Manual)
The possibility to consult the (basic) specifications
This module explains contract forms (the frameworks for making practical arrangements in construction contracts) in the civil engineering and green sector and how to properly record them.
Please note: for the preparation of a RAW Specifications, professional software is required from the RAW Licensees. One of the advantages of RAW is therefore that this system, and the specifications drawn up on the basis of it, play an important role in the digital information provision within the construction process.
What knowledge is included in this knowledge module?
This knowledge module contains the current version of the RAW system (Standard Provisions, Result Descriptions, General Specification File, Optional Provisions and Manual) and the CROW Basic Specifications.
The Standard RAW provisions and the UAV include regulations in the form of general and administrative provisions, technical provisions per work category and Tests. The standard further details the risk distribution and responsibilities, as laid down in the UAV and offers a technical framework for testing the contractor's performance.
The RAW Catalog with result descriptions contains a collection of standard and optional texts for the description of the work (section '2.2 Further Description') in a statement of cutlery items with quantities.
RAW-Catalog with stipulations contains a collection of stipulations that can be included in the specifications depending on the project.
The General Specifications file (ABB) contains selection and completion texts for the general description of the assignment and general data. The ABB is incorporated into the software by the RAW Licensees as a template of the RAW specifications.
The RAW system manual contains an explanation of the use of the RAW system and in special cases per discipline (work category).
The UAV 2012 includes the Uniform and Administrative Conditions for the execution of works.
ProContract. Data with CROW specifications for drawing up GC (integrated) contracts. Please note: to compile a RAW cutlery you need the software of the RAW Licensees. This software is not included in the CROW knowledge module.
Datasets available from the CROW basic specifications, sets of specifications from collectives (such as the provinces) and sets of specifications from individual organizations.
History:
Standard RAW provisions 2010 and 2008
What are the advantages?
Easily search through the specifications, catalog and specification file.
The knowledge module is constantly updated.
Working with the knowledge module is efficient and enjoyable.
Licenses
In the ordering process you can indicate how many licenses (1 per user) you want to purchase. A license is valid for 1 year. More information about the CROW Online Knowledge Modules.
